Special Edition: The Book of Jasher 2

jasherThis show originally aired on 12/20/2010.

This is a continuation of The Revolutionary Radio Project Special Edition series on the Book of Jasher. The Bible says (in several places) that “in the mouth of two or more witnesses you can establish whether or not a thing is true.” That being the case, there are books mentioned in the Bible that are not in the Bible. One such book is named twice (two witnesses), and that is the Book of Jasher. This is a fascinating book that most people have never heard of. But this book elaborates on so much of the Bible – especially Genesis. With this show, I will ontinue to read (and give some commentary on) The Book of Jasher.

Could you imagine this on screen?  Abraham and Nimrod face off.  The life of Abraham before Gen. the trashing of his dads gods, the life in the cave for  ten years.  Living with Noah and the information, knowledge he must have been taught.  Walking and talking with Jesus (one of the three angels) and everything around that story, the debate on not destorying the cities.  The birth of his son and the start of a people.  What a life, what a story!  Man that would be such an amazing movie.  To many christians see Abraham as some old guy but he is a leader, a fighter, a warrior.

    • Totally agreed! In fact, I’ve been writing a movie script closely based on the Jasher account precisely for the reasons you stated and more.
